A measure of the economic importance and strength of a particular sector is often reflected in the membership organisations that grow up around it. In this regard, the renewable energy sector in the Highlands and Islands is not found wanting.

A number of member organisations have evolved in recent years to represent the growing number of companies working in alternative energy projects the length and breadth of the Highlands and Islands. Whether it is as a developer, operator or as company in the renewable energy supply chain, there is a collective body to voice their views and share aspirations.
